Which documents are required?
Your selection in the verification form determines which company evidence is required in addition to your identity documents.
Freelancer
No company evidence is required at the first stage.
Sole proprietorship
Trade registration.
German company
Commercial register extract or suitable company evidence.
Association
Depending on its status: association register extract, articles or formation evidence; the formation and board minutes may also be required.
Foreign company
Register extract or comparable company evidence.
Planned formation
No completed company evidence at first; it can be submitted later through the secure upload.
Additional documents may be requested depending on the individual case. The secure verification form shows accepted formats and the binding selection.

Read your mail when the Business Hub is unavailable.
With an existing, active Nextcloud account, you can open scans that have already been made available directly. This login is separate from your Business Hub login. Nextcloud itself must also be available.
1. Open Nextcloud directly
Open cloud.yourgermanaddress.com directly in your browser. Bookmark this address — you do not need to go through the Business Hub.

2. Sign in to your Nextcloud account
Use your Nextcloud credentials. A Business Hub sign-in link is not a Nextcloud password. If you already have an account but have forgotten its password, use the password reset option on the login page.
If you do not know your account details or do not receive a reset email, contact us. Do not create a second account yourself and never send us your password.
3. Open your inbox and read the PDF
Open the inbox folder shared with you and select the required scan. You can view or download the PDF. If you have several shared folders, check that you have selected the correct recipient or company.
A missing folder, loading error or missing notification does not automatically mean there is no mail. Please report such discrepancies to us directly.
Direct access is for reading and downloading mail already available. Request forwarding or destruction in the Business Hub, or contact us during an outage. Do not delete Nextcloud files for this purpose.
