The competent trade authority assesses the filing, business address and evidence for the individual case. Tax assignment to another location does not automatically change an existing trade registration.
The tax office must be told where key management decisions are actually made and where operations take place. A business address alone does not move that location.
Important: A different tax jurisdiction does not automatically mean that the approved business address can no longer be used for the legal notice and correspondence. If an authority requires a change, its specific notice is decisive.
This checklist is guidance and not legal or tax advice. Requirements vary by activity, legal form and responsible authority.
